important parts of its business. The information made available through an enterprise resource planning system
provides visibility for key indicators (KPIs) required for meeting corporate objectives. enterprise resource planning
applications / softwares can be used to manage product planning, parts purchasing, inventories, interacting
with suppliers,
providing customer service, and tracking orders. enterprise resource planningcan also include application
modules for the finance and human resources aspects of a business
May a times, enterprise resource planningsoftware forces the company employees to accept new data
recording procedures
and alter their working to introduce new business processes. This results in the necessity of the employees
to undergo training
and learn the new processes and user interfaces. This can also contribute for
enterprise resource planning software failures.

Scope of the Study
Scope of the study is to understand the concept of ERP in details and about the ERP software’s used in industry and
organisations and how it benefited to all. But our study is limited to little ERP Software and its applications on organisations.
Limitations of the Study
The limitations of our research are:
- The sample which we took does not represent the whole population as thenumbers of respondents were very less
- We used convenience sampling technique owing to limited resources which isnot ideal for this kind of research
- Our limited experience was another constraint on the quality of the research
- Our respondents were from specific areas and did not cover the whole of India
We missed out on some sectors in our research

it is beneficial to industry. It also aims in understanding and comparing two ERP software’s.
