Main advantages of  lean manufacturing is to eliminate waste items ; that is, anything that does not add value to the final product gets eliminated.Stocks are seen as a type of waste that carries with it a high cost. Another advantage of lean manufacturing is  empower workers, and make production decisions at the lowest level possible. Lean manufacturing a production strategy that aims at high levels of production using lesser effort, time and material.
